This site is a way of telling friends about my trip, random people my thoughts and family I’m at least still alive. My idea is to travel the length and breadth of Europe by bicycle. Guesstimates put the time around 2 years and around 40 countries visited. Crazy, a little. Life changing, one would hope. Fatal?.. I’ll let you know.
This idea has been concocted over months of hard decisions. Mostly due to a the realisation I need to do more with my life before I settle down. Japan was a huge part of this making me realise how much I haven’t seen. Europe might seem awfully close to home to some people for me it’s a hive of opportunity, Due to the good old EU and a British passport I can work as I go, without visa issues. www.couchsurfing.com has a vast swathe of people all over Europe I can crash with, and www.warmshowers.org caters for cycle tourists in particular.
In fact the very thought of the idea made me write a page about it + some maps.
Either way I’m going to make this site my hub of contact with the world as I travel, expect a Flickr gallery, Google maps (with my GPS datalogs) and random thoughts 
I realise that this about doesn’t answer the 5 important questions though; Who, What, Why, When and How. So I’ll dedicate a page so you know the score.These will turn to links as and when I create the pages so bear with me on that one;
